Exploring the Stars

Western University Department of Physics & Astronomy Public Outreach

Exploring the Stars is a public outreach program organized by the Western Department of Phyiscs and Astronomy in conjunction with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, London Centre. Our goal is to offer educational astronomy activities for elementary and secondary school students, university students, and the general public. We offer private programs for specific groups in addition to an observatory open house once per month during the academic year (and every Saturday during the summer term), weather permitting.

Examples of activities include specialized topic lectures, guided observing at the Cronyn Observatory, and hands-on activities and demonstrations. For more information, please see the events information page.
