PASA - Physics and Astronomy Student Association
The Physics and Astronomy Student Association consists of undergraduate students in 2nd year and above in the Physics or Astronomy programs at Western. Our purpose is to enhance the undergraduate student experience through organizing numerous social events, actively seeking to recruit more students to the program, providing services to first-years, and being active in physics outreach. Details on upcoming PASA events will be posted here for your convenience, so check back frequently!

Physics Help Centre every Tuesday and Thursday, 12:30-3:30, in PAB 49 – A help centre for students of all years where PASA members volunteer their time to help tutor.
Every year PASA hosts a Physics Undergraduate Conference (otherwise known as PhUnC) that gives undergraduates the opportunity to share their research through mini talks and poster sessions. This year, we are eagerly expanding the conference to include nearby universities in South Western Ontario and across the border. The conference will take place all day on Thursday March 9th, 2017, in the Physics and Astronomy Building at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. Our keynote speaker will be the director of SNOLAB, Dr. Nigel Smith, talking about SNOLAB’s Nobel prize winning neutrino searches. More information can be found here: Registration to present a poster or give a short talk on a research topic is now open and can be completed here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1E7X_JIHSXJ4CWinwp6qUCvflBkcDGnZHJQk41fZJ2rI/edit
