Recommended Course Schedules


The following is a list of courses that are strongly recommended for Physics & Astronomy students:

First Year Course Selection

Fall:
  1. Required: Physics 1501A (preferred) or 1301A/1401A (acceptable)
  2. Required: Calculus 1000A or 1500A
  3. Recommended for Fall/Winter/Summer: Math 1600A/B (Linear Algebra, required for module entrance)
  4. Recommended option: Chemistry 1301A 
  5. Recommended option Fall/Winter: Computer Science 1026A/B or Elective

Winter:

  1. Required: Physics 1501B (preferred) or 1302/1402B (acceptable)
  2. Required: Calculus 1501B (preferred) or 1301B (acceptable)
  3. Recommended for Fall/Winter/Summer: Math 1600A/B (Linear Algebra, required for module entrance)
